mquadr.at and axiros join forces: one-stop solutions for self-service connectivity and device management

As of March 2010, mquadr.at and German specialist for device management www.axiros.de have entered into a partnership to complement their services portfolio and cover the complete life cycle of provisioning Internet connectivity and value added services.

As technology leader for open device management solutions based on TR-069 and beyond, Axiros offers generic solutions for provisioning and management of residential and enterprise CPEs (enterprise routers, residential gateways) as well as home based devices (set-top boxes or IP phones). In combining these solutions with mquadr.at self service connectivity applications that tackle the provisioning process from the client side, Telcos and ISPs all over the world can benefit from best of breed services that cover the complete value chain.

Within our partnership we focus on the development of common products and solutions. As a result we aim at sharing state of the art technology and bundle engineering know how to create innovative services that operate on an independent level and support a multiple (hardware) vendor strategy.
To name but a few, the following topics will be addressed:

  • Internet access provisioning (front to back): client configuration including complete device management (TR-069 and non TR069)
  • Error Management - fault diagnosis combining the client PC, CPE and backend systems- one-stop-fault repair including data synchronisation (WLAN, userdata, etc.)
  • Value Added Services provisioning: from the registration process right through to their implementation (WLAN, VoIP, IP TV etc.)
  • Smart Home: managing the home network on a single platform
  • Performance Measurement

Our solutions will focus on easy implementation (also within an existing TR-069 environment) and the seamless integration of PC Internet configuration, selfrepair and device management.
