Division into two parts

This application consists of two parts: a server side (this will also run over the live update server and be accessed via a web interface) and a client side:

Client side

This tool can be automatically installed during the initial installation (or can also be offered as an additional download for your customers) where it will run in the background. It consists of an 'inspection tool' and the message centre program. As soon as the customer is online, the 'inspection tool' checks at predetermined intervals if there is a new message in the categories the customer chose to be informed of, which is then displayed in the corresponding form on the customers' system.

The client application can be created in different languages, whereby the web interface/administration tool for the ISP will be in one language (e.g. English). In addition, a standard default language must be defined for the messages that are to be sent out for the case that, for example, a message is not available in French. Depending on the operating system (or user selection), the client-side application then retrieves the message in the corresponding language (providing that the ISP has provided this message in all languages).

Server side

The ISP is supplied with an 'administration tool' that enables him to manage the content of the messages, when and for how long these should 'appear' on the customers' system, etc. to categorise these into groups and to manage new groups.
