Comprehensive statistics on consumers and their software usage behaviour

m2reporting is a statistics module that provides the ISP with all relevant consumer data with regard to software usage. Appearing on a secure web platform, the data is the perfect basis for well-founded marketing and/or product management decisions.

The following information is stored and presented as anonymised statistics:
  • consumer system data (operating systems and service packs, language settings, browser and e-mail clients, firewalls and antivirus software)
  • all relevant data regarding used access devices, additional software, etc.
  • installation data regarding all mquadr.at applications (number of installations and deinstallations, installation modes, selected options, etc.)
  • usage data (software usage, terminations, errors)
  • specific software data, such as:
    • number of requests, updates, download volume (m2liveupdate)
    • diagnoses and repairs accomplished, errors/problems identified and any related user behaviour (m2selfrepair)
Additional reports are, of course, possible, depending on ISP wishes and/or requirements.

Combined with m2webalizer, m2selfrepair and m2liveupdate

By combining m2reporting with the mquadr.at products m2webalizer, m2selfrepair and m2liveupdate, the ISP receives valuable information about both the technical infrastructure and the usage behaviour of its end customer base.

Reports and statistics include not only information related to internet access and user systems (in combination with the internet setup and configuration software m2webalizer), but also diagnosis and repair information (in combination with the intelligent diagnosis and auto repair tool m2selfrepair). Thus, error types and rates can be quantified in addition to available system data.
In combination with the update software m2liveupdate, the ISP also receives vital information about the update behaviour of the consumers, the distribution of different software versions on the market and the data volume downloaded from the update server.

Secure Web interface

All data is displayed on a secure web portal in dedicated, ISP-specific interfaces. Data access can be managed easily with the integrated user management.

m2reporting provides every ISP with a specific, secure and password-protected interface that can be accessed via the m2portal online platform. A built-in role system (user hierarchy) guarantees that every ISP can control data access and insight internally as well.

Interactive displays and easy data export

All statistical data is presented graphically and is equipped with basic filter functions. Using the integrated export function, it can be easily exported in common data formats (.pdf, Microsoft® Excel).

All information is presented in tables; additionally, the most relevant data is displayed by means of interactive charts (pie charts and line graphs). It can be filtered by day, week, month or quarter and exported as a .pdf or Microsoft® Excel document for further use.

Dedicated server infrastructure

All data within m2reporting and the respective databases is hosted by mquadr.at on a dedicated server infrastructure. Thus, there are no additional costs for the ISP, while data access is guaranteed at any time.

The servers are located in a hosting centre that meets the latest security standards. A redundant internet connection ensures maximum reliability and the highest transfer speed possible. With m2reporting, ISPs have permanent and secure access to their statistical data – worldwide and at any time.
