m2selfrepair - smart error detection and self-healing

Intelligent diagnosis and self repair

m2selfrepair is an intelligent diagnosis and auto-repair software that identifies and corrects errors related to the internet (connection, modem, WLAN, e-mail, etc.) that occur on the client system. The software runs in the background constantly, regardless of whether the user is on- or offline.

m2selfrepair is optimised for Microsoft® Windows® and Mac OS X. The modular-built software can be adapted to all ISP specifications and requirements with regard to the following:
  • functions,
  • interface design (branding, CI/CD, wording, etc.),
  • application languages(s),
  • delivery/carrier medium (CD, DVD, download, USB stick, etc.),
  • etc.
Because of its flexibility, user-friendliness and stability, the software is used by numerous renowned providers, ideally in combination with the internet setup and configuration software m2webalizer.

R.I.S.® – Realtime Intelligent Selfrepair

As a part of m2selfrepair the R.I.S.® (Realtime Intelligent Selfrepair) module monitors/identifies errors/problems on the consumer PC and corrects them automatically.

Currently, more than 250 errors/problems related to internet services (connection, e-mail, etc.) that can occur on the consumer PC are identified and corrected/resolved by the built-in auto-repair function, without even bothering the user with an error message.
With the m2selfrepair software installed, consumers have a real-time error prevention tool for all internet services (including hardware, WLAN, e-mail, etc.) available at any time.

D.O.D.® – Diagnosis On Demand

With the D.O.D. ® (Diagnosis On Demand) module, users can manually perform a complete system check (including a sequential diagnosis) for all installed internet services.

Helping users to help themselves: With just one mouse click, m2selfrepair starts a quick and intelligent system check and performs a comprehensive diagnosis of all internet services on the client system. When an error is found, the user is notified accordingly and repair options are suggested. As an option, the software generates unique error codes, which are displayed together with the most relevant system information. This way, errors/problems are easily identifiable, which allows for standardised communication between consumer and support and accelerates error correction.

Interfaces and animations

In order to ensure maximum user-friendliness, m2selfrepair uses clearly laid-out interfaces and simple error descriptions with automatic repair options.

Additionally, m2selfrepair offers animated instructions and repair hints for errors/problems 'outside' the computer, e.g., incorrect hardware wiring. Even in this case, m2selfrepair helps to solve the problem without having to contact the provider’s customer support.

User statistics and data

Combined with the additional statistics module m2reporting, m2selfrepair delivers all relevant information regarding client systems and user behaviour as anonymised statistical data.

The statistics provided by m2reporting serve as valuable business indicators for the ISP, and include the following:
  • client system data (operation systems, service packs, system languages)
  • all relevant information about used CPE, additional software, etc.
  • mquadr.at application data (number of installations, program terminations, etc.)
  • number and type of errors found by m2selfrepair, including repair information
All reports and statistics are available within an easy-to-use online interface with a built-in export function (*.pdf or Microsoft® Excel). All information is compiled into graphs and can be displayed per day/week/month/quarter.
