The Internet setup routine inode Companion, which was developed by mquadr.at, was introduced to the public in the sixth issue (winter 2003/2004) of Inode’s magazine “Alles was Netz ist“. This CD-Rom solution, which is distributed to prospective Inode-customers via partners, consists of the Internet setup routine inode Config on the one hand, and the unique administration software inode enter on the other hand, as well as an FTP-Client: m2ftp.

inode Config allows Inode-customers to automatically setup and configure any kind of Internet access (Dial-up, ADSL, xDSL) with the help of one single setup software. Inode Config takes any installed hard- and software into consideration, carries out the basic configuration of the client’s system and is also responsible or customer specific setup; by means of a live update function all customer elevant data is transferred automatically from the respective Inode-server onto the client’s PC.

With the help of inode Center, which is automatically set up, any data and settings relevant for your Internet access can be easily administered and adapted. During Internet access setup, m2ftp is preconfigured in such a way that Inode-c ustomers can immediately access their dedicated Inode-webspace after setup has been completed.
