The submitted project: m2selfrepair

» m2selfrepair is a diagnosis and repair software that identifies and corrects errors related to the Internet in real time. mquadr.at adapts its repair software to the needs of its customers, as each ISP has specific requirements and technologies. After installation by the end user it is designed to run in the background constantly, while using negligible system resources.
Its main aim: reduction of calls to Customer Support. An ISP’s customers stay online at all times, therefore customer care costs are reduced greatly, and ARPU is increased at the same time.

The two core components of m2selfrepair are:

When an error is detected, R.I.S. and D.O.D. offer to repair the faulty settings immediately. In case of errors that cannot be repaired automatically (e.g. incorrect wiring of hardware) animated visualizations and context sensitive help provide guidance for manual repair.

Currently the three major ISPs to use m2selfrepair with all of its main components are: KPN – the leading telecommunications and ICT service provider in The Netherlands, A1 Telekom Austria AG – the leading Austrian telecommunications company, and Swisscom (Schweiz) AG – the largest ISP in Switzerland.
