The Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG) funds innovative research by mquadr.at

The Austrian Research Promotion Agency funds the latest research project of mquadr.at, the Vienna-based software company. The „Self-Care Drive“ is a solution for self-service and Internet connectivity support. It connects end customers, their PCs, customer support and other departments of an Internet Service provider in one overall system – through services administrated centrally via servers.

The Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG) is the national funding agency for industrial research and development in Austria. As a “one-stop shop” offering a diversified and targeted programme portfolio, the FFG gives Austrian businesses and research facilities quick and uncomplicated access to research funding of innovative and competitive projects.

The funded project: The Self-Care Drive

The Self-Care Drive is an independent, service-oriented server/client solution that guarantees access always and everywhere via all devices and connection technologies. This results in greatly increased possibilities and perspectives for support, self-service and analysis in Internet connection technology. The core of the complete system is a complex server solution guided by the principles of service oriented architecture. It offers various services, saves and analyses data, and communicates with the client and external systems via interfaces.

The Self-Care Drive accelerates the handling of individual problems and offers the possibility to contact the systems of hundred thousands of end customers at the same time with a single step – or even to modify settings and configurations.
